Lyhyesti

Kuka vastaa

Sovelluksen kehittäjä on Mikko Salovuori, mikko.salovuori@gmail.com.

Updated 18 October 2026.

In short. Ajopäiväkirja does not collect, sell or transmit your data to the developer or any third party. There is no server, user account, advertising or analytics. Your data stays on your phone and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud account.

Who is responsible. The app is developed by Mikko Salovuori, mikko.salovuori@gmail.com. Because your data never reaches the developer, the developer is not its controller and cannot see, change or disclose it. If you enter other people's details (such as drivers' or clients' names), you are responsible for that data.

Data the app processes. Trips (times, odometer readings, start and end locations, route, purpose, client, driver, number of passengers, compensation details and change history); location during trips and, if automatic detection is enabled, in the background; motion activity, used only to detect driving and not stored; the name of the connected Bluetooth or CarPlay device; receipt and dashboard photos, whose text is read on the device with Apple Vision and never uploaded (dashboard photos are not stored); an optional report logo, stored only on your device; vehicles, places, clients, employers, fuel-ups and receipts you enter; if you use the Apple Watch app, the current trip and today's and this month's kilometres and compensation, sent directly from your phone to your watch (Apple WatchConnectivity); and local reminders, such as setting next year's mileage rate, an "End the trip?" prompt when you stop or a reminder about a trip left running, created on your device; and widgets and the Lock Screen trip view (Live Activity), which show the current trip and this month's kilometres and compensation and may be visible on the Lock Screen (you can hide them in iOS Settings).

Storage. On your device and, optionally, in your own iCloud account (Apple CloudKit), which the developer cannot access. Exports and backups go wherever you save or send them. When you send a receipt to your bookkeeping address, email a monthly report from your own Mail app, or share trips with another driver (CSV), the data goes only to the address or app you choose via the share sheet.

Apple services. Maps (a location point or your search text is sent to Apple to look up addresses), iCloud, App Store payments (the developer only receives sales reports that do not identify you), Siri and Shortcuts (Apple processes your voice requests), and crash reports if you have chosen to share analytics with developers in iOS Settings. See Apple's privacy policy.

Retention and deletion. A driving log is tax-related material that usually must be kept for at least six years after the end of the tax year; you are responsible for keeping it. Delete individual items in the app, or everything by deleting the app and its iCloud data.

Your rights. You can view, correct, export and delete your data in the app at any time. You may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
